Father, You have called us into fellowship with Your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who is faithful. (1 Cor. 1:9) Our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:3) We can’t even begin to wrap our minds around that fact, that we are having fellowship with the Creator of the universe, with the King of Kings, with the Savior of mankind, with our Redeemer! And, that You are having fellowship with us! Then, because of your Holy Spirit living in us, we are able to commune heart-to-heart, spirit to spirit with other believers. We need both fellowship with You and fellowship with others because life here is tough at times, and this world is not our home. We need to be comforted, encouraged, supported, directed at times, redirected. There are times, too, when we are so excited about what You have shared with us that we can’t wait until we can share it with someone else. Thank You for all You have placed in our hearts and lives and the richness of fellowship we can with You and with others; a depth of fellowship that will only become more precious as life goes on and then that will never ever end!
